Project Background
The Jinniu Campus of Chengdu Sixth People's Hospital under construction is a key project of Chengdu. It is located in Shaheyuan Street, Jinniu District, and covers an area of 42 acres, with a construction area of 136,655 square meters, including the emergency department, outpatient department, inpatient department, etc. After the Jinniu Campus is completed and put into use in 2024, it will become the largest main campus of Chengdu Sixth People's Hospital.
Project Pain Points
The Jinniu Campus of Chengdu Sixth People's Hospital plans to meet the medical needs of tens of millions of people each year. It is a landmark comprehensive hospital complex in the area. The hospital requires that network communications not only meet the needs of various functional areas of the hospital, such as regular payment, equipment floors, emergency floors, and multimedia conference rooms but also meet the convenience and safety of network communications for patients. The following requirements are put forward for the integrated wiring system:
1.10G network to desktop
The payment, equipment floors, emergency floors, and multimedia conference rooms all need to have 10G network high-speed connections to the desktop to ensure high speed, high reliability, and low latency for medical activities. In particular, special areas such as the radiology department, operating room, and ICU must ensure that the wiring system can work normally in a complex electromagnetic environment to ensure low-latency and high-bandwidth network transmission.
2. Safe and stable transmission
Taking into account the densely populated environment of the hospital and fire safety considerations, the products used must be able to fully guarantee the safety of personnel. And when a large number of people access the network at the same time, the network can still transmit stably.
Based on the hospital's high-standard design requirements and the project's pain points, TC designed a Category 6a shielded low-smoke halogen-free system for this project.
1. 6A shielding solution
The 6A shielding solution can better shield external interference in hospital environments. As the cornerstone of intelligent informationization, the integrated wiring full-link system provides a solid guarantee for the flexibility, adaptability, scalability, and manageability of hospital intelligent systems. It can support 10G bps network transmission and extremely low network latency, providing basic conditions for the stable operation of AR/VR remote surgery diagnosis and treatment systems, and ensuring that hospitals do not need to carry out large-scale wiring upgrades in the next 15 to 20 years.
2. Multi-color partition management
There are many distinctions between different networks in the hospital. At the front end, we use Tiancheng Magic series network panels, which retain the label design and are of moderate size. At the same time, Tiancheng network panels are also equipped with color-separated function bars, and different colors of function bars can intuitively distinguish the functions of the points. The operation and maintenance personnel of the hospital computer room can easily realize the visualization management of different network usage functions, medical networks, and telephones in the hospital, which is convenient for daily operation and maintenance in the later stage.
3. 6A shielding module of the wire-free tool
The Tiancheng Magic series wire-free tool 6A shielding module used in the project information module has different colors of lock wire buckles that can not only distinguish different networks but also replace traditional cable ties to fix cables, ensuring that the cables are not damaged and achieve the highest performance; the cross Rib branching cover ensures the stability of performance indicators such as crosstalk and echo; the patented segmented floating gold pin design of the module can effectively avoid the phenomenon of pressing the gold pin.
This project has high requirements, and we will strive to win the Luban Award after the project is completed. To fully ensure the high-quality completion of the project, our company dispatched technical personnel to the site to provide standardized construction guidance for a series of products of Category 6A shielded links. We also cooperated with the on-site construction supervision to conduct certification tests on the actual laid links of different lengths and ultra-short links under different international and national standards. The excellent electrical performance of the link was unanimously recognized by the on-site engineering party and supervision.
