Speak for China! TC attended the 35th plenary session and working group meeting of ISO IEC JTC1 SC25

On September 27, the 5-day 35th plenary session and working group meeting of ISO IEC JTC1 SC25 was successfully concluded in Yamaging Prefecture, Japan. Mr. Li Jingfeng, Deputy General Manager of TC Smart Systems Group, and Mr. Wu Jun, Technical Director of TC Communication, attended the meeting on behalf of TC, expressing TC's opinions on the international stage and speaking for China!

ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25 Information Technology Equipment Interconnection Subcommittee was established in 1989. It is mainly engaged in international standardization research in the field of information technology equipment interconnection. The secretariat is located in Germany. It currently has 4 working groups, of which WG 3 is the user-building cabling working group.

Since 2017, TC has actively participated in every plenary meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 25. Apart from the epidemic situation, TC will send technical experts to the venue to promote the development of international standards for integrated cabling together with experts from all over the world.

This meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the opinions put forward by experts from various countries in the IEC 11801 series, IEC 14763 series, IEC 24383, and IEC 29125, and promoted the adoption of relevant opinions in my country. Several suggestions put forward by the last PON were discussed, and the next work plan was clarified. The key points are as follows:

Mr. Li Jingfeng and Mr. Wu Jun are both senior experts with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. In discussions with experts from various countries, they actively shared TC’s experience and technical achievements in industry practice, fully participated in discussions on several of the latest draft international standards, and made every effort to promote the adoption of China’s opinions, thus enhancing China’s influence on the international standards stage!

International standards play a key role in the integrated cabling system. They ensure the standardization and consistency of the structure, interface, transmission medium, and testing of the cabling system. At the same time, international standards are also the vane of the industry's technological development, promoting the industry to develop in a more serialized, standardized, standardized, and open manner to meet the needs of technology and the market.
