TC attended the first plenary meeting of 2024 of the SC25 Universal Cabling System Working Group of the Information Standards Committee
On March 26, the first plenary meeting of the General Cabling System Working Group (WG2) of the Information Technology Equipment Interconnection Subcommittee of the National Standardization Committee in 2024 was successfully held in Nanjing. TC, as a member of the association and a member of the working group, was also invited to attend the meeting.
This meeting interpreted the overall work of WG2, focusing on the progress of the standards under development, research reports, pre-research standards, and proposed project standards, and made a detailed report on the work plan for 2024.
The meeting introduced in detail the progress of the development of ISO/IEC 14763-3 standard, determined to start the revision of GB/T 34961.3, and discussed and determined the relevant term definitions at the meeting. After the meeting, the participating units will be collected, and the translation work will be divided according to the collection situation.
The background, ideas, and framework of the two research reports "Research on Standardization Requirements of Cabling Systems for Smart Hospitals" and "Research on Standardization Requirements of General Cabling Skills" were interpreted, and the necessity and scope of the project were discussed, and it was agreed to carry out relevant research work. At the same time, Mr. Wu Jun, Director of Product Technology of TC, also reported on the progress and follow-up plans of the IEC meeting last week at the meeting and actively discussed the operation and maintenance standards and the cable cabling standards for leaking cables in user buildings with the participating experts.
Subsequently, TC will make every effort to implement the work arrangements of this meeting, share the company's accumulation in innovative practices, and jointly promote the development of the industry.
